Soda City Suds is a Laundry Production Department of Heartwood Furnished Homes. The Laundromat is not a public facility. Soda City Suds Employees washe/dry/fold/sort all linens for Heartwood Furnished Homes. We operate similarly to a hotel with the exception that we have 175 Short Term individually owned Vacation Rental Properties. Soda City Suds provides all freshly cleaned bedding linens, bath and kitchen linens for these vacation guest rental properties. Soda City Suds cleans over 5000 lbs of linens per week.

We are seeking to hire a person who is very reliable, and dependable with a good work ethic for our Laundry Attendant position.

You will be expected to be available to work FRIDAY'S through TUESDAY'S.

Monday - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Tuesday - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Friday - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Saturday - 5:30 am - 2:00 pm

Sunday - 5:30 am - 2:00 pm

As a member of our Soda City Suds Laundry Attendant Team, you will:

• Professionally wash and dry laundry items, such as bed linens, terry blankets, bedspreads, towels, etc.
• Sort, fold, label, and organize Heartwood (Soda City Suds) laundry items
• Ensure supplies are prepared in a timely manner for pick-up at the end of the day
• Properly utilize the necessary tools, chemicals, and products to clean linens to company standards
• Observe and report any damage to linens or potential hazards - damaged or permanently stained linens must be pulled from regular rotation and marked for discard
• Operate commercial washers and dryers in our on-site laundry facility
• Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with team members and management team
• Attend all mandatory individual and team meetings
• Assist your colleagues and management team when necessary
• Other responsibilities as assigned - because every day looks different
• Operate machinery and use of cleaning products

Key Physical Qualifications

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to Stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to Squat, Stoop, Bend, Lift, Walk for periods of time.
• Must be able to Visually observe and identify discoloration or stains on linens.
• Must be able to use both arms/hands to fold linens in accordance to Heartwood Furnished Homes standards.
• Must be able to work in hot environment in the summer. (We have air conditioning and fans - but with clothes dryers running - it can become quite warm).

Other Requirements

• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Must have at least a High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be eligible to work in the USA

It is a plus if you have experience working in a Laundry Facility in the Hospitality Industry.
