Soderstrom Architects is Hiring an Architect Near Portland, OR
Soderstrom Architects is currently seeking a licensed Architect or Architectural Designer with five to eight years of experience to join our team. Our ideal candidate has a great attitude, aptitude, and work ethic that aligns with our company values.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate with the project team on the development of design solutions on all project phases, work independently and lead others.
- Project review per jurisdictional code requirements.
- Assist Project Manager/Architect or Project Principal with client interactions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Five to eight years full-time experience as an architect or similar position.
- Four years minimum experience utilizing Revit.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Enscape, Lumion, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
- Professional experience designing educational, commercial, and/or civic buildings.
- Knowledge of current sustainable, energy-efficient design concepts and products.
- Accredited Bachelors or Masters of Architecture degree.
- Architectural license preferred but not required.
- LEED AP accreditation preferred but not required.
Salary Benefits
Compensation commensurate with experience. Soderstrom offers a competitive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, basic and voluntary life, 401k. etc.), paid holidays, sick, and vacation time.
Location
Office newly located in the Pearl District, with hybrid remote work (three days weekly in office).
