Location: Richardson, TX
Contract Position Job Description:
- Design, validation, manufacture, and delivery of aircraft Fuselage and propulsion structure components.
- Areas of expertise may include primary and secondary structure design, payloads design, and lofting.
- Design of components considering Tolerance stack up, cost effectiveness, manufacturability, and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
- Expertise on GD&T Functional Tolerance and Annotations
- Collaborate with stakeholders - Present Reviews and gate checks - Prelim, Intermediate and Critical design review
- Present the solution in the meetings to various stake holders of the customer.
- Ensure to meet the agreed schedule with the customer and their suppliers by releasing the parts.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering
- At least 5-10 years of experience in Aerospace Industry as a Design Engineer.
- Knowledge of Boeing standards
- Experience in CATIA V5, Enovia
- Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
- Experience in metallic and composite structures/components
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to excel in a hybrid virtual / on-site environment in a highly dynamic, team-oriented atmosphere
