Job Description

We are searching for a Senior Software Developer to evaluate existing systems and/or user needs to analyze, design, recommend, and implement information system changes.

Candidate will architect solutions, design and develop new applications and enhancements.

What You ll Do

• Evaluate existing systems and/or user needs to analyze, design, recommend, and implement information system changes.
• Architect solutions, design and develop new applications and enhancements to client's Immunization registry and Communicable Disease Surveillance System
• Identifying the hardware and software infrastructure needs to accommodate the department s architectural goals
• Architect scalable systems for Java/Spring based applications
• Responsible for full lifecycle projects from requirements gathering, design through development, implementation, rollout and maintenance of new and existing applications
• Troubleshoot design flaws and system bottlenecks

What You'll Need

Required:

• 5 years experience with Reactive micro-services, Traditional ESB orchestrated SOA, Staged Event-driven Messaging Architecture (SEDA) Cloud-enabled Distribute
• 8 years experience JAVA, PL/SQL, UNIX Shell Script, JavaScript and Python
• 8 Years experience with both Linux and Windows operating systems
• 8 Years experience with Spring and Angular Framework
• 8 Years experience with Docker and Kubernetes with AWS
• 8 Years experience with Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat and IIS
• 3 Years experience using GIT, Maven, Jenkins and ANT
• Understand government business process and operations, including familiarity with HIPPA regulations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs by facilitating brainstorming sessions with health professionals
• Strong knowledge of web programming specifics and experience in building web-based applications
• Experience working with relational databases
• Ability to analyze or recommend commercially available software or other IT architectural components
• Ability to prioritize work and establish deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor progress of team members
• Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and work of the project team
• Develop contingency plans as necessary. - Manage requirement gathering and change management process
• Execution of all responsibilities with little direct supervision

Preferred:

• 1 Years experience with Frameworks such as Hibernate, Drools and Apache Spark
