Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Enterprise Storage Engineer for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Investment Banking clients in Salt Lake City, UT .
Responsibilities :

• As a Storage Engineer, you will be part of a global team, managing the lifecycle for block and data protection products for the firm's enterprise level deployments.
• You will be responsible for various efforts, installation, maintenance, upgrades, tech refresh and migrations.
• Enable our business partners to achieve their goals by understanding their storage requirements and providing appropriate solutions in both external and internal cloud.

Required Skills:

• Overall 7 years of experience and at least 3 years of experience in enterprise storage, backup administration and disaster recovery
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Pure Storage Flash Array and block storage products
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Rubrik r6000 series data protection products
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Brocade G series fabric switch products
• Familiar with operating systems, Linux, Windows and Network components
• Work with engineering team to implement new products and solutions.
• Planning, coordinating and upgrading components of the storage products with software, hardware and code upgrades.
• Understanding of infrastructure resilience and disaster recovery
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and trouble shooting skills.
• Desire to learn new technologies.
• Bachelors Degree

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency with Python or other scripting languages
• Familiar with Hypervisor and operating systems
• Experience with other storage products from Dell, Hitachi and NetApp, not mandatory.
