We are looking for an Administrative Assistant for an entertainment giant in Burbank, CA. PLEASE NOTE: At present, this role is working onsite on Wednesdays in Santa Monica but as of 9/5/23 Monday to Thursday will be in Burbank and Fridays are remote. Pay rate: $25-27.77 per hour DOE Must Haves: Person who takes initiate and can anticipate needs with excellent communication skills. Agency or management experience will rise a candidate to the top of the pile for this manager. Must be able to work overtime as needed - flexible with schedule, able to work in a fast-paced area and be a team player. Preferred would be someone who is excited about the role and has a genuine interest in adult animation like Family Guy, Futurama, etc. Looking for talent to go into that space in the future, so Animation background would be excellent. Duration:18 month(s) Description/Comment:The Administrative Assistant provides support to one executive and proactively manages and organizes heavy calendar scheduling, phone lines and book travel arrangements for the Adult Animation team. • Proactively manages smooth operations of the executive's calendar and office, being mindful of deadlines and priorities • Organizes heavy calendar scheduling, facilitates heavy email and phone correspondence; submits expense reports, purchasing requests for supplies; books travel arrangements • Prepare general creative feedback/notes on Adult Animation slate projects • Organize contact lists of writers, producers, creative executives and any related correspondence as needed • Compose correspondence as needed; write synopsis and loglines of episodes for weekly, widely-distributed report • Read and watch material and provide feedback as necessary • Provide additional support to other executives and department as needed Basic Qualifications: • A minimum of 1 year of previous administrative assistant experience in a high volume entertainment desk at a studio, network, production company or talent agency • Ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously • Manage smooth operations of the executives' calendars and offices, being mindful of deadlines and priorities • General understanding of the television development process and cycles • Knowledge of agencies and networks • Must be able to work with minimal supervision • Willingness to work overtime with short notice • Must work well under pressure • Demonstrated organizational skills • Superior attention to detail • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Must have a passion for television (passion for adult animation is a plus) and the desire for a career in TV • Proficient knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, and Google Drive • Proficiency in cloud based file management, i.e. Dropbox Preferred Qualifications: Someone willing to learn and grow with the team.
