JobDescription :

Computersystems specialists provide technical guidance for the developmentand troubleshooting of computer systems. They identify system datahardware or software components required to meet user needs.

Theyalso develop guidelines for implementing secure systems tocustomers or installation teams. May require a bachelors degree ina related area with at least at least 6 years or equivalentexperience in the field or in a related area.

• Provide COBOL software development efforts related toCCAD initiatives.
• Provide JCL developmentrelated to mainframe work.
• Provide CICSdevelopment related to mainframe work.
• Providecoding to access DB2 DBMS.
• Conduct reverseengineering of current state systems.
• Createcurrent state and future state process documentation.
• Use a variety of information gathering techniques (e.g.interviews facilitation diagrams) to gather define and documentcomplex business data requirements from business teams.
• Identify areas for improvement in currentsystems.
• Conduct document and present impactanalyses.
• Create and managerequirements.
• Create and support the creationof functional specifications for data models customizationsextracts and reports.
• Create implementationdocumentation and support the implementation process.
• Develop design changes in the asset management softwareand development and testing environments and collaborateintegration into the existing business production environment withthe rest of the team.
• Plan and support datacleanup activities.
• Prepare test dataimplement and support test activities including the creation oftest plans and test cases; test enhancements and trackresults.
• Plan and support user acceptancetesting.
• Engageand build strong working relationships with IT businesspartners.
• Conduct remote training (forbusiness and technical audiences).
• Troubleshoot issues determine causes and provide optionsfor fixing the issues.
• Experience withmainframe technologies like JCL CICS COBOL (mandatory)
• Ability to create software design documentation(mandatory)
