Infrastructure/Linux Engineer ~ Onsite Aurora, CO
Duration: 12 months
Clearance required: TS/SCI
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with design, development, implementation, and support of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Operating System for the project.
You will support software deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to support program need for the effort.
You will Design, implement, generate code through scripting tools, test, document, and maintain the system.
You will assist with development of build/test and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premise computing environments.
You will assist engineers with RHEL based tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Typically requires BS/BA Degree in Science, Technology Engineering Math (STEM) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics and 5 years of related work experience.
U.S. citizenship and current Top Secret / SCI security clearance is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Thorough background in on premise infrastructure design data center systems
Experience troubleshooting complex systems involving multiple servers, COTS products, VMs, VDIs, and/or network issues.
Experience with RHEL 6.0 infrastructure development, implementation, and optimization for enterprise Design.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience in Interfacing with customers and users at a customer’s site
Experience in Network designs and implementation
Experience in SAN/NAS designs and implementation
Experience in Windows Platforms and implementation
Understanding of DevOps/DevSecOps developments
Extensive Windows OS development and deployment experience
Hands on experience scripting skills (i.e. PowerShell, Python, Ruby, bash, etc.)
Experience with the Agile development lifecycle
Experience with the Atlassian tool suite
Experience with SAFe agile processes
Knowledge of Enterprise Application development and deployment processes
Security certification
