Proposal Manager
Location: Reston, VA (Onsite 3-4 days/week; occasional weekends based on deadlines)
Clearance: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) Required
Duration: 6-12 Month Contract to Perm
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage proposal development activities, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with requirements.
- Work closely with technical writers and engineers to support proposal content creation and refinement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for proposal status updates and communications.
- Identify and escalate red flags in the proposal process to ensure compliance and quality.
- Assist in desktop publishing and formatting of proposal documents using ETP and MS Suite.
- Support project coordination activities as needed.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience with desktop publishing tools.
- Proficiency in ETP and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
Nice to Have Knowledge:
- Familiarity with software development and system integrations.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Experience in identifying red flags in the proposal process.
- Background in supporting technical writers and engineers.
- Some experience with project coordination
