We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Director for our school-based locations who can wear many hats, lead a dynamic team, and who also exudes a positive attitude and a strong desire to help children and families live their best lives. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct all school-based therapy services to ensure optimal clinical processes and operational effectiveness, as well as to ensure provision of quality services consistent with applicable government.

  • Oversees the Speech Language Pathologists, School-Psychologists, Clinical Fellows, Occupational Therapists, and Therapy Assistantsand is available, or has a similarly qualified alternate available, at all times during business hours.

  • Collaborates with the Executive Director of School Based Services, Clinical Director of School-Based Psychology services, and other leaders within the organization in the development of strategies relative to the operational needs of the clinical team and strategic initiatives of the organization.

  • Manages the activities of their team’s department, consistent with organizational goals, and provides leadership and support to the clinical school-based services team, other managers within the organization, as well as district/community partners.

  • Coordinates with talent acquisition, sales, and districts to determine referral and staffing needs in various districts/schools across multiple states.

  • Participates in the onboarding and orientation of new staff, in-service education, continuing education, and utilization review.

  • Cultivate relationships/maintain current relationships with universities to assist with the placement of students within the school-based services line.

Must Have:
  • Master’s degree and/or Doctorate in speech-language pathology, occupational therapy or psychology. 

  • 2 years in previous school based therapy and psych staffing experience, including a minimum of 2 years in upper management.

  • Extensive understanding of the school staffing industry including policies, processes, procedures, rules, regulations and laws.
