About Us: Solamente Pizza is a contemporary Neapolitan pizza restaurant located in Las Vegas. Our commitment to quality means our pizzas are always made from scratch, with no artificial ingredients. We use 100% naturally leavened dough, made from specially selected Italian flour fermented for a minimum of 2 days before being cooked in a woodfire oven. We take pride in delivering an exceptional dining experience with authentic, flavorful pizzas.

Job Summary: We are seeking a diligent and reliable Kitchen Steward to join our team. The Kitchen Steward will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen, ensuring all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean and properly stored. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, counters, and equipment.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored.
• Dispose of trash and recycling appropriately and ensure kitchen waste is managed efficiently.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the kitchen supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a kitchen steward or in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of proper sanitation and cleaning techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and moving quickly in a busy environment.
