Solange Lora Dentistry is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Philadelphia, PA

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at a dynamic dental clinic. The ideal candidate will have experience in various dental procedures and possess strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

- Treat patients with respect
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for dental work and form procedure filling
- Take and record vital signs of patients
- Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by the dentist
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Prepare the necessary materials for various procedures
- Take dental x-rays when needed
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or Epic software
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies

- Keep the Dental office clean and steady for the next day

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have experience in the following areas:
- Working in a dental clinic environment
- Taking dental x-rays and maintaining accurate records
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Dental assisting: 1 year (Required)

  • English, Spanish, Or Portuguese (Required)

License/Certification:

  • X-Ray Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:
