Responsibilities:
As a Solar Field Service Supervisor, you will:
- Leadership Excellence: Demonstrate strong leadership skills in overseeing and guiding a team of technicians, ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
- Residential and Commercial Troubleshooting: Leverage your expertise in residential solar troubleshooting (3 years) and, if applicable, commercial solar troubleshooting.
- Office and Administrative: See technicians out mornings, followed by assisting in general operations, field operations, routine visits and project oversight.
- Field Work and Training: Conduct field service work as needed, supporting technicians and providing hands-on training when required.
- Field Operations: As a supervisor for Solar Medix you will also be practicing within the field as a Senior Service Technician on priority projects, fielding calls from entry level and experienced technicians, aiding in the overall flow and streamlining of the operations.
- Customer and Technician Interaction: Excel in de-escalating situations with customers and technicians, ensuring a positive and professional work environment.
- Flexibility: Be adaptable to weekend work as needed to meet project demands.
- Fleet Management: Be able to log/track vehicles as well as equipment maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 3 Years Residential Solar Troubleshooting Experience: Proven expertise in identifying and resolving issues in residential solar systems.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and support a team of technicians.
- Office Work: Comfortable working in the office Monday to Friday, collaborating with the Manager.
- Field Presence: Willingness to go into the field for service work and training as required.
- Customer Interaction: Strong interpersonal skills for effectively de-escalating situations with both customers and technicians.
- Weekend Availability: Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
