Job Summary

Solar Power Pros has specialized in residential solar sales and installations in the Colorado front-range area since 2013. We are seeking professional, engaging candidates to organize, manage and work home shows and other area events, in order to gather leads and set appointments for potential solar customers.

This role is a perfect starting position for candidates wanting to progress into selling residential solar systems or learning more about marketing Solar to both residential and commercial customers. The position is roughly 90% remote, with about 3-4 events per year in the Front Range (Farmers Markets & Expos) .

Sales Support duties and responsibilities

• Generate qualified solar leads using provided lead sources
• Understand and document customer needs and requirements
• Schedule and confirm sales appointments for lead and sales consultant
• Design preliminary PV systems
• Be available for inbound company calls
• Learn and effectively communicate solar technology, benefits and financing
• Coordinate with co-workers and leads throughout the sales process
• Professional and courteous communication
• Meet qualified lead quotas

Preferred Requirements:

• Inside sales experience or proven skills in customer service, upselling or generating leads
• Strong phone presence and experience dialing 100 calls per day
• Ability to understand and resolve lead concerns and eliminate objections
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong listening skills
• Consistently demonstrate client focus and persistence
• Passion for renewable energy, with strong desire to develop professional skills
• Autonomous, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Strong home internet connection, and a computer capable of running software . 2 Screens is preferred
