Canvasser/Appointment Setter Description

With over 4,900 residential installations, our company is the largest D.C.-based solar PV developer and installer in the city. To help us on our mission, we are looking to add an energetic Sales Associate to our team that will act as the first point of contact for all our new customers. Our Canvassers are the fuel of our sales engine and critical to the lead generation process.

Responsibilities

• Go door-to-door educating D.C. homeowners on the financial and environmental benefits of going solar
• Schedule virtual and in-home appointments for sales team
• Meet with previous clients to assist them with ongoing issues while introducing them to our robust referral program
• Meticulously manage your neighborhood territory and record interactions through multiple forms of mobile technology
• Attend events throughout the city and proudly represent our company in the community
• Maintain a consistent positive attitude in the workplace

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred; Don’t have one? We would still love to hear from you
• 0-2 years of work experience; past canvassing and sales experience a plus
• Competitive and demonstrated ability to work well under pressure
• Tech-savvy - capable of working off of a tablet
• Ability to walk for 4-8 hours
• Problem-solving and time management skills
• Must have a reliable mode of transportation

Benefits & Compensation

• Base salary included - opportunity to make $50k-$60k annually
• The position comes with full-time benefits after 3 months of satisfactory performance
