Front Desk Team Lead

The Front Desk Receptionist Team Lead is responsible for coordinating daily administration of doctors, staff, visitors, and patients at Low Country. They schedule appointments, answer patient inquiries, handle patient emergencies, and monitor stock and supplies at the office.

Duties:

• Ensures Team Member conformance to standard work
• Identifies and trains team members on defects in process flows.
• Understands productivity targets and ensures they are achieved.
• Conducts daily huddles and escalates as appropriate.
• Ensures team members are responding to escalation signals.
• Works cooperatively with other departments and team leads to proactively identify potential defects and problem solving.
• Works with Manager to identify correct skill mix for roles and may participate in new hires interviews and responsible for the orientation and training of new hires.
• Greet all patients in a kind, enthusiastic, and helpful manner.
• Instruct patients to sign in upon arrival and obtain any information as required.
• Inform patients upon arrival of any delay and the time involved.
• Maintain communication with the clinical area to maintain appropriate patient flow.
• Copy/scan and verify patients’ insurance cards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

• High School Graduate or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent
• Organizational skills training preferred
• Computer courses preferred
• Organizational Skills Training preferred
• 2 years previous experience in medical office setting preferred
• 2-3 years’ experience working in a business office
• Previous experience with multi-phone lines
