• Design and implement a diverse range ofrecreational activities tailored to the interests and abilities of ourresidents, including physical activities, arts and crafts, music, games, andspecial events.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment thatencourages resident participation and engagement in activities.
• Supervise and train recreation staff andvolunteers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and adherence tofacility policies.
• Manage the recreation department budget,including purchasing supplies and equipment within approved allocations.
• Ensure all activities comply with federal,state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with localorganizations, entertainers, and volunteers to enhance the variety and qualityof programs offered.

• Bachelor's Degree intherapeutic recreation or equivalent training/experience Certified.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in arecreational or activities role within a healthcare or long-term care setting.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a SupervisoryRole
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills,with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, staff, andexternal partners.
• Demonstrated creativity and resourcefulness inprogram development.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and bestpractices in recreational programming for skilled nursing facilities.
