Role Overview:

The Quality Manager will be the cornerstone of our Quality Management System, providing expert leadership across our quality assurance landscape. This role demands a proactive approach to managing internal testing requirements, overseeing quality representatives, and ensuring that our products not only meet but exceed quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance and excellence across the board.
• Direct and mentor the Quality Department staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Oversee all aspects of materials testing, incoming inspections, and the disposition of non-conforming items.
• Handle customer complaints with diligence, ensuring swift resolution and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with department managers to align quality objectives with overall company goals.
• Ensure thorough training in quality policies and procedures for all employees.
• Maintain and manage critical documentation, including the Quality Manual and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Address and manage any regulatory or third-party quality requirements.
• Champion the corrective action system and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supervise the calibration system, ensuring all equipment meets our stringent quality standards.

Requirements:

• A minimum of five years' experience in a Quality Control environment.
• Proficiency in standard measuring equipment, blueprint reading, and basic PC skills (Microsoft Word and Excel).
• Prior experience in supervising and training quality personnel.
• An Associate's Degree or higher.
• Familiarity with the injection molding process, particularly with PVC and Nylon materials, is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A deep understanding of quality management systems.
