Job Description:

As a School Psychologist, you will:

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' needs.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
• Provide counseling and support services to students, addressing a range of emotional, social, and behavioral issues.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop comprehensive support plans.
• Conduct crisis intervention and provide immediate support during emergencies.
• Offer training and consultation to staff on topics such as behavior management and mental health awareness.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Valid School Psychologist certification in the state of Arizona.
• Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
