Blazerjobs is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapistto join our team for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year in Auburn, WA. This full-time position involves working with students to support their occupational therapy needs within the school setting. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' occupational therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on each students unique needs.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students functional and academic success.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert input on occupational therapy goals.
• Educate and train school staff and parents on strategies to support students occupational therapy needs.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Washington.
• Must have school-based experience.
• Strong understanding of the IEP process and ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to maintaining high professional and ethical standards.
