Caseload Details :
- Grade Levels : Primary School (4K-2)
- Duties : General / Standard SC School Counselor Duties
- Behavioral Concerns : No behavioral concerns
Educational Requirements :
Master's degree in School Counseling or related field
Certifications :
SC School Counselor Licensure required
Responsibilities :
- Provide individual and group counseling to students to address academic, social, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create and implement interventions as needed
- Facilitate workshops and programs on topics such as bullying prevention, study skills, and career readiness
- Participate in IEP meetings, 504 plan meetings, and other student support team meetings as necessary
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records and documentation of counseling services provided
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in school counseling preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and stakeholders
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment
