Full-Time COTA (K-12) - Marysville, CA (2024-2025 School Year)

Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) looking to make a difference in the lives of students?

A school district in Marysville, CA is seeking a qualified COTA to join their team for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year!

About the Position :

• Provide occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through high school.
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs), and implement therapeutic interventions to address students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care skills, and classroom participation.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other school staff to ensure students' success in the learning environment.
• Document progress and participate in meetings to discuss student needs and goals.

Qualifications :

• Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in the state of California.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development and occupational therapy principles.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule :

• Full-time position (37.5 hours per week).
• School year schedule : August 2024 - May 2025.
