Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Special Education or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Certification: Valid Massachusetts Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience: At least one year of recent experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting.
• Skills: Strong munication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Assess students' progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
• Provide specialized instruction in various settings, including inclusive classrooms and resource rooms.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and performance.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to engage and support students.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development activities.
