Position Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and compound medications for IV/infusion therapies as per physician orders.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices, especially when handling hazardous drugs.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely preparation and delivery of medications.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and organizational policies.
Shift: Days, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of recent and relevant experience in pharmacy, with a focus on IV/infusion compounding.
- Experience with hazardous drug compounding strongly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- PTCB certification highly preferred, but not required.
Note:
- Pennsylvania does not regulate pharmacy technicians, so there is no license requirement.
