Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Lake Oswego, Oregon

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Lake Oswego, Oregon. The OT will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans for patients of all ages with various physical, cognitive, and developmental challenges. The ideal candidate will be passionate, adaptable, and mitted to helping clients achieve their maximum level of independence and participation in daily activities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct prehensive evaluations to assess clients strengths, limitations, and functional needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, client goals, and evidence-based practice.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services including therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, adaptive equipment training, and environmental modifications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and social workers, to coordinate care and optimize outes.
• Educate clients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, home exercise programs, and strategies to promote independence and safety.
• Document evaluation results, treatment progress, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Stay current with best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development activities.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, program development, and munity outreach efforts as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Oregon.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but new graduates are wele to apply.
• Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent verbal and written munication skills.
