Soliant has partnered with a school district near the Warwick, RI area to fill a vacant position for a Paraprofessional for the duration of the school year.

Description of Position :

Providing one-on-one support to a female 3rd grade student, ensuring access to a personal care attendant for bathroom assistance and self-care encouragement.

Monitoring the student's needs and providing reminders for bathroom use.

Offering support with toileting and changing as needed.

Participating in lesson planning sessions and communicating with parents and school officials.

Co-teaching lessons under the Teacher's guidance, leading small groups or individual instruction and discussions, and reviewing classwork.

Organizing the classroom and teaching materials, ensuring a conducive learning environment by minimizing distractions and disruptions.

Attending to the student's physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs.

Required Qualifications :

• Previous experience working with children between K-12
• CPR Certification
