Job Responsibilities :
- Provide individual and group counseling to students in K-12 grade levels
- Develop and implement comprehensive school counseling programs that address academic, career, and personal / social development
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Conduct assessments and provide interventions for students facing academic and behavioral challenges
- Facilitate communication between students, staff, and families to foster a positive school environment
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting counseling strategies as needed
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Counseling or a related field
- Valid North Carolina School Counselor certification
- Significant experience working as a school counselor with students in K-12 settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
