Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions to support student development
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Promote a positive and supportive atmosphere for all students

Requirements :

• Valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the Illinois Board of Medicine
• Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Passing scores on the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) examination
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
