School Psychologist Needed for the 2024-2025 School Year in Virginia

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This position is ideal for a passionate and skilled professional mitted to supporting the academic, emotional, and social development of students in Virginia.

Job Details:

• Position: School Psychologist
• Location: Virginia
• Type: Full-time
• School Year: 2024-2025

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students referred for special education services.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students to address academic, emotional, and social issues.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective strategies to support student learning and behavior.
• Conduct classroom observations and provide remendations for interventions and acmodations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and develop intervention plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in pliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
• Valid Virginia state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Previous experience working as a School Psychologist preferred.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
• Excellent assessment, counseling, and consultation skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
