Soliant is Hiring a School Social Worker Near Eunice, LA
Soliant Education is currently working with a school district near Eunice, LA, to fill a School Social Worker position. This is a temporary opportunity starting ASAP and continuing until the end of the school year. The School Social Worker will be working with middle and high school students, ages 11-22, and will be responsible for initial evaluations, re-evaluations, MDRs, and more.
Job Details:
- Hours: 3-4 Days per week, 7 hours per day
- Caseload: Middle to High School (Ages 11-22)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations.
- Manage Manifestation Determination Reviews (MDRs).
- Work with middle and high school students.
- Travel between 2-3 schools within the district.
- Follow guidelines outlined in Bulletin 1508 in Louisiana.
Qualifications:
- School Social Worker certification or licensure in Louisiana.
- Familiarity with Bulletin 1508.
- Experience working with students in middle and high school.
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
- Effective munication and collaboration skills.
