**Job Description:**
As a School Social Worker with Soliant Education in Claytown, you will play a vital role in supporting students' social-emotional development and ensuring their overall well-being. Collaborating with educators, parents, and munity resources, you'll provide essential services to help students succeed academically and thrive in a supportive environment.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide direct social work services to students, including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to identify and address students' social-emotional needs and develop appropriate interventions and support plans.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths, needs, and areas for growth, and develop and implement individualized plans to support their social-emotional development.
- Serve as a liaison between students, families, schools, and munity agencies to coordinate services and resources and advocate for students' needs.
- Provide consultation and support to educators and parents on issues related to social-emotional development, behavior management, and crisis intervention.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, assessments, and interventions in pliance with state and federal regulations.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work.
- Social Worker License (LSW, LMSW, LCSW, LLMSW) in the state of Michigan.
- 310 Letter or Full approval.
- Previous experience working as a School Social Worker is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and munication skills.
- Dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
**Position Details:**
- Full-time, 35 hours per week
- General Education caseload
