Soliant Education is seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers to join a school district in the Glenpool, OK area for the uping 2024-2025 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
Job Details:

• Position: Special Education Teacher
• Location: Glenpool, OK area
• Type: Full-time
• Start Date: Beginning of 24/25 SY
• End Date: End of 24/25 SY
• Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Plan and deliver engaging and effective instruction in self-contained or resource classroom settings.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student success.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related services staff, and parents to support student learning.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to ensure academic and personal growth.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student performance and IEP goals.

Qualifications:

• Valid Oklahoma Special Education teaching certification.
• Must have obtained, or be currently obtaining ASD credential
• Experience working with students with diverse disabilities and behavioral needs.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent munication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
