We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Bridgewater, Vermont. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt and modify curriculum and instructional materials to meet the individualized needs of students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and techniques to address different learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to promote academic and social growth.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and behavior.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid Vermont teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, and emotional/behavioral disorders.
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
