We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Secondary Special Education Teacher for a local School District in the San Tan Valley, Arizonaarea.

Responsibilities :

• Teach, work with students, paraprofessionals, families, other staff, take data.
• Update IEP goals, assess students and write up the assessment report.
• Write IEPs, attend IEP meetings, present the assessment results.

Job Details :

• Position : Secondary Special Education Teacher
• Start Date : New School Year Position- 07 / 30 / 2024-05 / 14 / 2025
• Location : San Tan Valley, Arizona
• Hours : 40 hours per week

Qualifications :

• Experience in the following preferred :
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education
• Active Arizona Professional Educators License
• Endorsement and / or specialized courses and training in the area(s) of Special Education and / or Temporary Teacher Eligibility
• Previous experience in a SPED role is preferred
• Familiar with IEP's
