Job Description :

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team in Goodyear, AZ. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they receive the best possible educational support.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt and modify the general education curriculum to meet the individual needs of students.
• Provide direct instruction to students in various settings, including one-on-one, small group, and inclusive classroom environments.
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate and comprehensive records.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and parents to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and other relevant staff meetings.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid Arizona teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
• Experience working with students with special needs is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.

State Licensure Requirements :

Candidates must hold or be eligible for an Arizona teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
