Job Title : Special Education Teacher

Job Details :

• Compensation : $30-$35 / hour
• Weekly pay and Benefits
• Benefits : Health, Dental, Vision, 401(K)
• Hours : 40 hours / week
• Start date : July 2024
• Caseload : Middle and High School

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in inclusive and resource settings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Use evidence-based strategies and accommodations to promote student success and growth.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.

Requirements :

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Special Education or higher
• Must have an active Special Education State Teaching License
• Must have experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Must have a passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students
• Must have strong communication and collaboration skills
• Must have good references
