We’re looking for an experienced custom Installer/Fabricator. The right-fit Solid Form team member seeks out challenges and enjoys the process of creating and problem solving to deliver a final product that embodies our mission of INGENUITY.

Solid Form is a custom fabrication shop that primarily serves the commercial construction industry. You will work with a wide variety of metals and a diverse portfolio of projects. A right-fit candidate will be equally comfortable in the shop and in the field and will have experience with a variety of metals and structural steel.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Install fabricated items on jobsites.
• Follow prints and work orders to cut, fabricate and assemble parts in accordance with production guidelines
• Demonstrate expertise with all fabrication processes including cutting, fit up, fabrication, finishing and installation
• Be proficient in complex custom fabrication with the ability to create custom jigs and fixtures as needed
• Complete necessary safety trainings and equipment operator certifications
• Work with specialty alloys such as stainless, aluminum, copper, zinc and brass
• Complete cross-training in all areas of shop and installation processes
• Perform all types of grinding and finishing skills to Solid Form standards, from weld prep to coating prep, to high polish finishes
• Interpret, perform and pass inspections for all structural welds
• Participate in leadership committees such as safety committee and employee volunteer programs
• Reliably meet or exceed estimated production times

Hours - Typical shop hours - 6:00-4:30pm Mon – Thu (overtime will be required as needed)

Jobsite hours follow the specific jobsite which may vary, typical hours are 6:00-3:00pm
