MDS COORDINATOR POSITION EXPECTATIONS
The MDS Coordinator reviews the facility's reimbursement as it relates to the various pay categories within the facility: Insurance, Managed Care, Medicare, and the Medicaid population of the facility. In addition, he/she analyzes data and makes recommendations for positive reimbursement trends to the facility and interdisciplinary team. Is a partner with the facility Director of Nursing, Admissions, Case Manager and the facility’s Financial Representative.

- Current Ohio RN License
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Excellent skills in analysis and communication, and managing deadlines
- Detail oriented with excellent computer skills
- Previous experience with the Minimum Data Set (MDS) electronic system
- Must be able to read, speak and understand the English language
- Nursing experience of at least 3 years, with a minimum of 2 years as an MDS Coordinator
