Job Title: Temporary Registered Dietitian

Location: Jamaica, NY 11432

Shift Time: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, NO holidays or weekends

Duration: Temporary position - 13 weeks with extension eligible

Pay: $50/hr

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Temporary Registered Dietitian to join our team in Bronx, NY. This position requires daytime availability from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with potential rotating weekends. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience and expertise in nutritional counseling and education.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct nutritional assessments and develop personalized dietary plans for patients.
• Educate patients and caregivers on proper nutrition and dietary guidelines.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• Certificate of Dietetic Registration (CDR) required.
• NY State Office of Professionals Registered License preferred.
• Primary Source Verification required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian.

Additional Skills:

• EPIC EMR preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in nutrition assessment tools and software.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
