A privately owned fashioned label that has a 20 year story of success that designs and sells high-quality clothing for women, is looking to add a new Accounting Manage. The brand is known for its modern yet timeless designs that are perfect for everyday wear. The company manufactures its designs around the globe and sells its clothing in specialty shops located in the United States and Canada and directly to customers through its website. This position will be hybrid based out to New York (3 days a week in office).

• $100,000 - $130,000 bonus benefits

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the owners to develop and implement financial strategies that support the growth and success of the business.
• Develop and monitor the established budget.
• Help develop sales plans and incentives for internal and external sales teams and monitor performance with those goals.
• Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations of the company,
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and laws.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of financial records
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records by reviewing financial transactions and conducting periodic audits.
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and laws.

Required Qualifications:

• CPA required - public experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field..
• Strong systems experience - Netsuite a plus
