We are assisting a global consumer products company with their search for a Manager of Operational Accounting. The Manager of Operational Accounting will provide various oversight of manufacturing and distribution cost accounting and reporting throughout the global distribution network. This person will interact with associates globally. This role is based in Southern LA County, and they are working a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with creating and maintaining global standardized processes related to manufacturing and distribution accounting
• Support the global transfer profit program, identify potential issues, and work with countries to provide resolutions
• Drive operational accounting automation projects design, implementation, and testing
• Analyze manufacturing cost trends including materials, labor and absorbed overhead rates within our internal manufacturing facilities and contract manufacturing partners
• Develop and maintain monthly regional financial reporting packages related to Gross Profit, and Inventory

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's (BS/BA/BBA) degree in accounting
• CPA and/or master’s degree in accounting a plus
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel, including building of complex financial models
• Experience using leading ERP software (Oracle or SAP)
• 7 years of experience in accounting with public companies and/or public accounting firms
• Professional experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred
