Senior Frontend Engineer (full-time) No C2C or contractors please

Location: Santa Clara, CA (hybrid), 2-3 days on-site, remaining days remote

• Our client is looking to fill the role of a Senior Frontend Software Engineer. This position will be hybrid and based out of the Santa Clara office. We are seeking Senior Frontend Software Engineer for user interface development for our cloud service. As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you will take a lead role in designing and implementing responsive and visually appealing web applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize your expertise in modern frontend technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6 ), TypeScript, and proficiency in frameworks like Vue.js, React, or Angular.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks to guarantee fast loading times and smooth user interactions.
• Implement optimization techniques such as lazy loading and code splitting.
• Ensure consistent performance across various browsers and devices through thorough testing and debugging.
• Proactively address and resolve compatibility issues.
• Work closely with backend developers to seamlessly integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback, and providing mentorship to junior team members.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5 years of proven experience in frontend development, emphasizing scalable and performant web applications.
• Proficient in Vue.js, React, or Angular, with strong experience in TypeScript.
• In-depth knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6 ).
• Experience in addressing performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility challenges.
• Familiarity with automated GUI testing.
• MUST HAVE: Commercial working experience 1-3 years in Vue.js. If you have not worked in Vue.js please do not apply.
