Physical Education Teacher
The Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Hartford is seeking an outstanding Physical Education teacher to join our faculty for the 2024 – 2025 academic year. Schechter uses a progressive multi-age educational model in which the teaching teams work together closely with each student and class. We welcome resumes from candidates with a deep knowledge of teaching Physical Education or Sports Coaching, understanding of children’s development, and the desire to work as a member of a team to enhance our multi-age school.
Job Status: part-time (approx. 45%)
Salary: $23,000-$25,000, based on experience

Schechter enrolls students from the age of two until the end of eighth grade in... three divisions: Early Childhood (from ages two through Kindergarten), Elementary (first through fifth grade), and Middle (sixth through eighth grade).
