Solomon Search Group is Hiring a Senior Billing Specialist Near Fort Lauderdale, FL
The Billing Specialist will assist attorneys with the preparation of bills for clients, ensuring that the client bills are processed timely and in accordance with the client agreement. Answers billing questions and researches billing related issues, prepares and distributes billing proformas, invoices, and billing related reports. Acts as the billing advisor to attorneys and the legal secretaries, ensuring that all transactions are recorded according to accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Process client bills and Paperless Billing
- At least 3 years of experience in legal billing processing in a law firm setting.
- Research and answer billing questions
- Review/edit pre-bills in response to requests
- Handle and process a high volume of complex bills
- Verify and review accuracy of billing and supporting documentation as required
- Additional duties as assigned.
- 3 - 5 years of progressive experience as a Biller in a law firm environment
- Aderant software experience preferred
- E-Billing experience is required
- Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
