Manufacturing Finance Manager

QUAD is seeking a Manufacturing Finance Manager for a Reading, PA area client. Hybrid work environment.

The Finance Manager will have five direct reports and will be responding for financial reporting, forecasting preparation, budget development, and other operational finance functions.

Responsibilities:

The Finance Manager will be responsible for:

• Coordinating accounts payable cutoff, general ledger entries preparation, inventory valuation, and other aspects of month end reporting
• Performing forecasts and budget consolidation and review
• Overseeing plant reporting system implementation and maintenance
• Performing plant data analysis and recommending cost reduction opportunities
• Completing regular monitoring and review of accounting controls and implanting changes as needed
• Reconciling and analyzing transportation reserve, parts and supplies inventory, and other plant accounts
• Overseeing physical inventories
• Creating reports documenting variances of actual versus budget amounts for labor and plant operating budgets and raw materials

Skills/Competencies:

The ideal Finance Manager will possess these skills:

• Bachelor’s degree; CMA/CPA preferred
• 5-8 years related experience within a manufacturing environment
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Forecasting, management reporting, product costing, and budget preparation experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• ERP systems experience

Additional Details:

Salary: to $140k bonus

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Travel: to 25%
