Large privately-held distribution company headquartered in Philadelphia is looking to hire a Sales and Use Tax Manager. This is a hands-on manager role that will ensure sales tax compliance across all 50 states.

Responsibilities will include:

-Preparing sales and use tax returns on a monthly basis across a large number of states

-Ensuring payments are made to meet tax obligations

-Responding to tax notices

-Preparing and reviewing exemption certificates

-Managing sales tax audits

-Providing guidance internally regarding sales and use tax questions or issues

-Researching new sales and use tax regulations and staying abreast of tax law changes

-Participate in special projects as needed

Qualified candidates should possess:

-Strong sales and use tax knowledge

-Experience filing sales tax in a large number of states

-Deadline-oriented with strong attention to detail

-Tax research skills

-MS Excel
