 Solugenix is assisting a client in their search for a Jr. Financial Analyst. This is a 4-month contract opportunity.

As part of the Finance & Strategy team, the role will accelerate the growth of the business by implementing new opportunities and solutions. Will partner with teams across the company to improve the profitability, scalability, and defensibility of the company’s business model. Looking for someone who can model the future, solve complex problems, and collaborate effectively to help carry projects from conception through execution. The right candidate will possess strong financial, analytical, and communication skills to influence data-driven business decisions.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of strategic finance, corporate finance, or investment banking experience in a high-growth technology sector.
• Ability to work with cross-functional partners at all levels of an organization.
• Highly skilled at synthesizing business insights and problem-solving.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Build financial models used to seize opportunities and build business cases for pursuing new programs.
• Basic SQL proficiency (or willingness to learn).
• Manipulate large datasets, uncover hidden insights in our data, and improve our understanding of our business through this process.

Responsibilities:

• Support the deal flow approvals process by reviewing submissions for policy requirements and working with sales, strategy & operations and finance to correct.
• Support deal desk teams across all verticals and lines of businesses to create deal financial models.
• Support the development of decision support materials by producing analytics spanning merchant comparable, our portfolio’s performance, and market intelligence.
• Maintain and update SQL queries to support deal models and analytics.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement new processes and frameworks for investment decisions.
• Work to increase our approach to balancing growth vs. profitability.
• Analyze business/financial measurements, uncover trends and assess current/future business risks and opportunities.
• Operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that is constantly evolving.

Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $30/hour to $40/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.About the Client:Our client is a technology and logistics company.
