Solution Partners, Inc. is Hiring a Power BI Developer Near Glenview, IL
We have a client in Glenview, IL looking for a Power BI Developer. This is a 6 month contract.
We need the contractor to start as soon as possible, until Dec 2024. We need the contractor to have intermediate to advanced Power BI experience. He/she will build Power BI dashboards, and convert existing excel access, SQL and Quickbase reports to Power BI.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Documents technical designs, tracks requirement deliverables, and assists in preparation of use-case tests.
- As technical liaison, confirms project scoping for client solutions; communicates effectively to identify options, explain issues, recommend solutions, manage risks, and reduce escalations during project design and delivery
- Monitor and execute daily jobs when needed, escalating all issues
- Ensure data integrity via automated validation
- Create/modify business interfaces and reports
- Create and update documentation associated with responsibilities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of T-SQL, SSIS, Quickbase, Visual Studio and Power BI
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing and business intelligence reporting
- Strong analytic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Collaborative working style
- Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
- General knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
