Elliot Behavioral Health Services is staffed by a team of mental health professionals who tailor both evaluation and treatment services to each individual patient. These patients with persistent mental health illnesses are admitted voluntarily or involuntarily for 5-14 days. Our state-of-the-art units provide a wide array of equipment and patient acuity depending on a nurse’s professional interests, certifications, and experience level.
About The JobThe Registered Nurse on Pathways delivers care for patients with acute and chronic psychiatric disorders. This includes de-escalation and crisis management under the supervision of providers. Also, creates a therapeutic and caring environment for patient and families. Has the option to cross train on PEP.

What You’ll Do
- Embraces and promotes change to support optimal patient outcomes and an effective professional practice environment.
- Involves patient/family in goal setting and planning, and communicates that plan of care to patient and family for input; and to colleagues to ensure seamless care across shifts and settings.
- Utilizes current evidence and relevant national/specialty standards to guide practice and/or performance and identifies areas for improvement.
- Demonstrates competent clinical practice utilizing clinical decision making and critical thinking skills.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ASN or BSN – BSN preferred)
- Current New Hampshire, compact, or multistate licensure as Registered Nurse required
- Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment – ACLS preferred
- Aggression de-escalation training approved by EHS
- Medical, Dental, Vision Benefits starting the 1st of the month following start date
