Our team members are knowledgeable “go-to” resources for power transmission products, support, and advice that keeps our customers’ businesses moving forward.POSITION DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Inbound Lead is responsible for managing day-to-day workflow of the entire receiving process. In this role, you will lead by example through effective communication, while working beside fellow warehouse associates in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and customer service skills, as well as compliance in upholding all of Solve’s safety and quality standards. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all aspects of the receiving process, including unloading, counting and preparing the product for put-away at the receiving dock, while maintaining quality standards
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance Team
- Communicate maintenance needs, quality issues, or other situations that could impact safety, quality or productivity to the Warehouse Supervisor
- Deliver high customer service, while serving as the key point of contact for deliveries and drop-off drivers, as well as confirming product receiving information with them in an efficient manner
- Identify opportunities for improvement to current receiving processes and contribute to the development of new initiatives
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- 1 Years Warehouse experience (or 2 years of comparable work experience in a leadership role)
- Forklift Certified
- Proficiency working with warehouse shipping & receiving equipment
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel/Outlook)
- Previous Team Lead Experience
- Experience having worked with bearings and/or power transmission component parts
